National Pediatric Hypnosis Training Institute (www.nphti.org)
An annual program offering Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Workshops. The majority of the Faculty of the NPHTI have taught together for over twenty-five years, providing a premier training experience for thousands of healthcare professionals worldwide.
Experiential Workshop in Pediatric Hypnosis
A biennial program offering Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Workshops in Syracuse, NY in the Spring. Drs. Ran Anbar (Administrative Director) and Laurence Sugarman (Training Director) offer an excellent curriculum and training experience and attract many of the leading Pediatric Hypnosis Faculty. The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (www.asch.net)
One of the premier professional hypnosis organizations in the world, ASCH largely offers Adult Clinical Hypnosis Training, and a few Pediatric Hypnosis Workshops at their Annual Convention. On occasion, they may offer a Regional Program in Pediatric Clinical Hypnosis. Please see below for additional information regarding ASCH.
The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (www.asch.net)
ASCH is the largest clinical hypnosis organization for licensed healthcare providers in North America. "Founded by Milton Erickson, MD in 1957, ASCH promotes greater acceptance of hypnosis as a clinical tool with broad applications. Today, ASCH offers professional hypnosis training workshops, certification, and networking opportunities that can enhance both professional and personal lives" (www.asch.net Home page). ASCH offers both an annual convention and quarterly regional workshops, where multidisciplinary Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Workshops are offered.
The Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis (www.sceh.us)
SCEH is an international organization that was founded in 1949. It's membership includes psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, dentists and physicians. SCEH offers superb workshops at their annual convention, which is typically in the Fall.
The New England Society of Clinical Hypnosis (www.nesch.org)
NESCH was the first component affiliate of ASCH, and offers an excellent Introductory Workshop annually in the Fall and an Advanced Workshop in the Spring. In the Introductory Workshop, students have the opportunity to study with experienced Faculty with an unusual student to Faculty ratio of 4:1. The Advanced Workshop features an internationally renown expert in clinical or medical hypnosis. NESCH's elite training program also offers a superb series of 'Sunday morning workshops', 'clinical supervision', and mentor relationships as well.

ISH was created for scientific and educational purposes to promote the education and research of hypnosis (ISH website Home page) around the world. A Triennial Congress is offered, the next being in Melbourne, Australia in 2015. I have attended this exciting Congress, and encourage others to take this unique opportunity to meet colleagues around the world who share a passion for hypnosis.
